Life is often messy and complicated. In everyday life, it can be hard to find the time, the energy and the space to explore aspects of our lives that may feel difficult. Counselling gives you a unique opportunity to set aside time for yourself to begin to make sense of some of the ways you feel held back or troubled.

Talking completely openly about our struggles to those closest to us isn’t always easy for a number of reasons. Through talking to a professional, removed from your circumstances, you can gain new insights about what is going on for you and be helped to find new ways forward.

My person-centred approach to counselling places you at the heart of our work together; I aim to be a compassionate, non-judgemental and trusted companion on your journey of growth. I integrate different approaches to counselling that seem best placed to support your individual needs and goals for counselling. The focus is always you and what you want to talk about.

I work from a designated room in my home in Witney where I can offer you a confidential and private space to talk. I am able to work on a short or long-term basis and offer sessions both in person, online or by telephone. Each session will last for 50 minutes and will be at a regular time each week. To help both parties determine if we will work well together, I begin with an initial consultation session where we can explore your reasons and hopes for counselling in greater depth.

I am a fully registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, then I can change. Quote from Carl R. Rogers
